..."This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him!"
August can be a very busy time — holidays, children at home, family visiting. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life.
But August can also be a moment to pause and reflect on that powerful scene on the mountain, when the cloud opened and God declared:
“This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him!”
Listen to Him.
In the stillness of our hearts — when we step away from the noise — we make space to truly hear what the Lord is saying to us. Prayer is like a telephone call with Jesus. And just like with a good friend, it’s not just about speaking — it’s also about pausing and listening.
So, this August, let’s take time to stop, be still, and listen. Because just as God is well pleased with His beloved Son, Jesus Christ ... He is also well pleased with you.
You are wonderfully made in the image of God. Know that your prayers are being heard — and that the answer is already on its way.
